Ride Your Dreams Everyday

Henry Osti lost both his parents to cancer, and they were his best friends, loving him unconditionally. Their loss was the hardest challenge he ever faced. Inspired by a documentary on long-distance cycling, Henry decided to make a bold change. He founded Ride Your Dreams Everyday (RYDE 501c3) and partnered with Delete Blood Cancer and Love Hope Strength to raise awareness for the bone marrow donor registry.

On June 24, 2011, Henry embarked on a 4,000-mile cycling journey from San Francisco to Yorktown, Virginia, climbing enough mountain passes to reach the troposphere. His efforts were covered by multiple news outlets, and he enrolled over 500 people in the registry.

While driving his support vehicle back to Salt Lake City, Henry met with Chris Doerr, CFO of Florida Blue, in Jacksonville. This meeting sparked the idea for RYDE Florida, a collaboration between RYDE and Florida Blue to promote bone marrow donation. Over two weeks, Henry cycled 1,400 miles around Florida, enrolling 600 more people in the registry.
